Thanks, Steve, I've read they were slow growing. :shock: I took a photo, but had problems with my software again. I will post a photo tommorow if all goes well.

They were placed in a community pot after germination. Today I seperated them from the pot. Now I have 10 one-gallon containers of them. :)

What's the proper name for the stringy things? These are typically called filaments. BTW ... Washingtonia filifera may get the term 'cotton palm' in UK or European circles. Barb, how hot is it there now? It's been in the 100's F here. I have my one-gallons out in full sun and they love it. There actually the Washingtonia filifera x robusta hybrids. And boy do they grow fast. :lol:

Barb, your Zamia vasquezii looks nice aswell. It looks like it's coming back from the leaf chewings. :lol: Makes me wish I hadn't gave all of my Zamia vasquezii seeds away. :cry: I'll get some more later. :roll: I hope. :lol:

Barb, yes a fungus I think he said it was. To much water being sprayed on the foliage. I try not to get the foliage wet now when I water. I treated them with some Copper Soap fungicide about a month ago. Yes, I sold the others. It was just way to many for me. :lol: I had offered some for postage and...

Barb, I use to have like 30 of them. That's the shadiest spot I got outside right now. It's on the East side of the house so it gets shade after 1 to 2 pm. I water them every other day. I may need to step it up a notch. I was told they had a fungus that's why I was leaning towards the dry side. Dean

They are just little one-gallons. I'll get a pic posted soon. I like how the frogs have taken up residence among your plants. When I water outside in the evenings I have noticed I got some toads among my plants.
