Hi Yuri,

Thanks for the picks. Question: did you put something around your plants before putting the boxes above them? I have never overwintered a palm, so I am starting to be anxious, now that I have only 5 months left... :-)

Thanks again!

Hi Canadianplant, All the best, man! Also, you may want to consider the Camellia Forest Nursery on North Carolina. They actually ship tp Canada, with bare root packages. But telling you the truth, patience seems to be our best friend in this case, because Camellias will grow one long tap root if not...

IT is great to see these established plants in their beauty; mines are almost seedlings compared to these. Also, nature is so much ahead of us. The crape myrtle is in full bloom!?!? Isn't it 'Natchez' by any chance? And those trunked plams, wow! Quick question: are these plants still exotics in your...

Hey, Rutherock,

Crapes are among my favourites and have just planted four in my South Canadian garden. I guess they might not even reach their flowering stage, being so much North here, so do you by any chance have some pictures on them that you could share with us?

Take care,

Hi Mike, My two cents is that if the plant is a Dracaena, it will be ok with any surgeric activity, especially with the removal of the offshoots. In the greenhouse business, old mother plants are being kept separately and they are pruned back, from time to time. As a result, these plants will just t...

Two more jasmines to try:

- Jasminum humile - nice evergreen with yellow flowers, shrub of 1.5-2 m tall, blooming in the summer and
