Why? Growing Robusta up here just fine and Bismarkia is only slightly less hardy
Bizzys will not tolerate any cold moisture. Believe me I have tried them here & none have made it. Our lows only get down to low 20's.

We need to update this thread. I just picked up a NOS 1997 Fender american strat in natural ash. I changed out the pickguard because the black looks much better. Removing the pickguard I see it has the "swimming pool" rout... Never much like the single coils, might just buy another pickgua...

There is no way to tell until they flower. Yours are a little small to flower yet. Most in this area have about 6-8 ft of clear trunk before they start to flower. I have one with over 9 ft of trunk that still hasn't flowered.

Well... The regular queens do fine here (If I don't fry them with lights :shock: ). So these may have a bit more hardiness. I get some frond burn, but by June they are back to looking great...

Looks good, but European fan palm will sucker like crazy and if you don't keep up with it it will branch out in front of the windows over time. Needls sucker but don't really trunk and much slower growing.

That depends on the palm and the seller. Sabal Palmettos are retailing for $145 each no matter what size right now.

Most Filifera do not like the humidity. but you will find some that tolerate it quite well.
