Dogs are doing great Barb. I'll have to get some more pics soon. Here are a few of Athena with her Halloween costume on... Barb the "Bamboo palm" I believe is a Chamaedorea seifrizii. They do great in shade and are a very nice clumping palm. they work great as a house plant.

We call them weeds here  Nice one Barb. I'll have to get some pics this weekend for you. Squirrels bury the seeds everywherer & next thing you know they are popping up everywhere you don't want them.

Barrie did yours recover from last winter ok ?

When you use Yahoo groups, the only way to access the photos is:

1. You need to have a Yahoo account
2. You have to subscribe to that group & become a member of that group.

On a side not, when I was down there getting the seeds I stopped at a nursery. They had variegated Cordyline australis 'Torbay Dazzler' for $10 each. When they rang them up, they rang up @ $3.95 each not bad at all.

The roots are very finicky and really do not like to be moved. Mike it's one of my favorites as well, just have to see h...

Being you are surrounded by the black sea, you should have a nice micro climate. They may do well for you there. What type of palms grow in your location ?

Hello Alexander. You can use a translator like google to translate the text of the forum. I just looked at the settings on the forum & it is set to English only, so it will not display Russian text correctly.

Welcome to the forum.

Never heard of them. You do know it takes about 3 years to determine if the plants are actually hybrids right ? The pro's I know of in FL are:

http://moultriepalms.com/default.aspx

and Tim Hopper which I don't think has a site anymore.
