(some were extremly severe) But now I very happy :D We hit 20.2C and made my tulips sprout faster and they are getting qu...

What can I plant in late March?
I did notice the soft ground went down to about a foot after I hit frozen ground. Seemed good for plants that had small roots.
Is there any bulbs (Crocus,Tulips)? Small conifers? anything?
This week they are calling for 20C soon so it could go down 2 or 3 feet?

The Ghosts last haunt was in 1949. People were living there last year when there was full of cars but there seems to nobody at this time. It should be fully restored because this such a rare house. I searched through lots of cities in ontario and have not found one like this one. There is more house...

Big Mistakes
My mistakes, 1, I did not put my rhododendron on the southwall and most of the winter it was getting more shade and cold north west winds. 2, It was also exposed to the Ice storm but my other plants were covered. 3, I also did not cage it up so the rabbits could chew of its little twigs. 4, My palm ...

My cold temperatures and palms
We had -22C this morning and we had 45 or more days below freezing. If I had a palm (needle palm or trachycarpus) even with protection, I can not belive it would survive this cold for this long. They are calling for a cold spring for us but forecasts are showing well above normal. Would a palm make ...

Not long ago we had -26C in outside where I was while toronto was at -16C!! But spring is coming. Some warmer temperatures are coming possibly with some heavy rain. Yep, a warm spring is coming
Spring is going to be warmer than normal. Mid april could be like early june. We are going to have an active thunderstorm year. Maybe a good few weak tornadoes to capture vidoes with or take pictures.
If its a warm spring maybe it will come back.

They could be Yucca elata or Yucca glauca. It would be cool but we have many days of nonstop wet it just feels impossible.
In the photo it looks like there is some drainage protection.
We are having a zone 8a winter and some cordyline like plants are still green and alive.
