Checked one of my 'Wilailak' & found something
It is weird how these things happen. I have two of these Cycads I got from Mr. Robert Chumley. Since they are my favorite cycad, I was doing a bit more research today and found one site that had a report of the Caudex splitting from below the dirt level up to the apex and going deep into the center....

Yea, I think maybe in a month or so, around mid March, I will start my ole reliable cow manure treatment that I had so much luck with last year. I REALLY hope it helps a large Coontie that I didn't take a pic of that Mr. Chumley sent me. Last year the cow manure made everything flush twice as many t...

Was worried about this Alocasia..
...but so far it's doing well. Well, as well as can expected being locked up inside the basement for 2 months. I had this guy out in the greenhouse but it was not doing anything and may have been on it's way yo death, maybe because of the dry heat from the heaters. But I brought it in and it has put...

Your both gonna need to build huge greenhouses to support your habbits... Yea, I knew better than have myself try to pop these. I asked the Germination KING to do mine for me  These were SOOOOO important to me that I didn't want them to go down like most of my germination experiences. Al...

I sell the snakes to venom extractors. Actually, a guy that invented a field antivenom, used the snakes he bought from me to invent the antivenom. I caught about 13-14 Western Diamondbacks and sold them to him (if a person kills them, I don't sell them to him/her) and he called me about a year later...

Cali, Kinda off the tree thing, but 6-7 years ago, before my second kid was born. I was huge into reptiles. I heard from a friend that had another friend that lived on a farm just outside the town I lived in, tell the story about how mice and rats were eating all his grain that he fed the cattle wit...

I know that is bad, but considering it was -2 outside, I lucked out. Having a greenhouse has really been helpfull...

My wife works with a guy that we have gotten close to him and his wife and family. 3 months ago they had a baby girl. The sweet heart was born with Downs Syndrome. The tough little girl needed Heart Surgery soon. However after 3 months of being a little warrior, The Lord needed her to be an angel la...

Hey buddy, A while back you gave me one Spindel that had just popped and put out it's first leaf.
Since I got it home, it has really taken off. I was wondering if you could post a pic of it's brothers & sisters so I can compare. Thanks.

OK, I am a HUGE fan of ole-time sit coms from when I was a kid, Golden Girls (cause it reminds me of Florida), Gilligan's Island, Cheers, Alice, etc. However one of my ALL TIME Favorites is WKRP in Cincinnati. I just like how it was set in Cincy and the show REALLY makes you feel like the show is ac...
